Please write your representatives asking them not to approve genetically modified apples, alfalfa, and fish.

Some of the dangers of GMOs include

  • patenting and monopolization of seeds by chemical companies
  • cross-pollination with traditional crops results in contamination of non-GMO fields
  • the use of Roundup produces super weeds
  • Roundup Ready alfalfa will be used as food for livestock and dairy cattle and in soil enhancement for grains and vegetables
  • increased risk of allergies and tumors
  • farmers lose control of their seeds and expenses
